Specifically designed for the Equal-i-zer hitch, this kit allows you to mount your Equal-i-zer hitch to a straight tongue trailer, such as a boat trailer.

This kit provides mounting points for your Equal-i-zer L-brackets and fits most boat trailers.

Equal-i-zer® hitch 6K, 10K, 12K, and 14K models

This guide covers the installation of a standard Equal-i-zer® pole tongue adaptor kit on a pole tongue trailer. The Equal-i-zer® hitch will work with most surge brake systems. This method will not work with the Equal-i-zer 4K models 90-00-0400 or 90-00-0401.

Requirements:

• 3” of clear space along both sides of the tongue somewhere between 27” and 32” back from the coupler ball cavity to mount the adaptor cross bar.
• Frame must be a box or rectangular shape – both driver and passenger sides must be perpendicular to the ground, and parallel with each other.
• Equal-i-zer® Pole Tongue Adaptor kit (part # 95-01-5950)
• Pole Tongue Adaptor kit is not compatible with the Equal-i-zer® 4K model (90-00-0400, 90-00-0401).
