But the shorter wheel base also creates a potential clearance problem, which is solved with the Husky 10 to 16 Glider. Since the rear axle of the short bed truck is located closer to the truck cab, fifth wheel trailer kingpins can be uncomfortably close to the truck cab when making tight turns such as backing into your favorite camping spot.
